About the Company: Network Computing Group (NCG) was founded in 1994 by Mark Bowles. Fourteen years earlier, Mark introduced microcomputers to Roanoke as Manager of the CSC at Virginia Western Community College. Using that new tech, he created their first LAN (Local Area Network) and found a heart for helping local businesses adapt and integrate along the way. NCG is locally owned and operated, and have played an active role in the Roanoke community for more than 23 years. All of our IT professionals are local, too, so they can quickly be on-site to assist. NCG believes it is essential to invest in our business community of downtown Roanoke and beyond. We have clients who we have worked with more than twenty-four years and many others who we have served for over a decade. No client is too big or too small. We calculate client size based on how many workstations (managed) and how many servers they will need. Whether a start-up with just ten workstations or a large business with hundreds, we offer the same level of service and care. To provide consistent, personal service, we never pass client projects on to subcontractors. This also allows us to maintain the required level of ongoing training and adaptation to new technologies that we expect from all of our employees.
